UFE BOWL VII:
Canton - 27 New Jersey - 19. Felix Jones raced 77 yards with just over 3 minutes to go to give Canton their first lead of the game. Sheldon Brown picked off Matt Schaub for the 2nd time in the game 90 seconds later and Canton began to celebrate their first championship. The only problem was the game was not over! Instead of trying to run out the clock, coach "Bozo" Burns ran two consecutive play action passes that fell incomplete. Dan Carpenter came to the rescue with a clutch 49 yard FG to increase the lead to 8 points but the Bulldogs special teams botched the kickoff coverage and New Jersey was 50 yards away from possibly the worst coaching moment in UFE Championship history. Luckily for Coach Burns the Canton defense rose to the occasion and secured the Bulldogs first ever championship.
